Modification of data: who can do it in the case of a company, what is needed, what is the process.

The person authorized to sign can change the data concerning the company via our central customer service or in person at the customer service of our stores. For the modification, it is necessary to fill out a 'Data modification form', which is provided with a 'Data management information sheet'. It is important that, in accordance with the current Data Protection Act, we can only provide data if the application is signed by an official of the company authorized to register. The document has two pages and we can only change the requested data if both sides are signed. If not only the last 3 digits of your tax number have changed, but also the first 8 digits, you can report the change to customer service by requesting a new card.

If it is necessary to change private data (e.g. residential address, personal e-mail address or telephone number), our customers have the option of transferring the change by entering their digital account from www.metro.hu. Of course, it is also possible to make a change by returning a completed and signed copy of the data change form and data management information sheet, as well as at the customer service of our stores.
